The change in the average size and requests from certain customers have led us to increase our size range to include shoe size 49/50. Our boots fit the majority of people including those who have wide feet and big calves.


After studying the ergonomics of the boot in collaboration with a shoe last maker, ETCHE SECURITE has used a "digital production line", from the design of the boot to the manufacture of the moulds, in order to ensure high precision of rubber thicknesses and thus guarantee properties such as permeation resistance and electrical insulation.
Each boot model has undergone strict testing at the CTC laboratory http://www.ctc.fr/ in order to obtain CE certification. The classification of certain boots as type III IPE (danger of death) has also meant that quality checks and the traceability of products have needed to be reinforced. This project has been carried out in partnership with Oséo Anvar (National Agency for the promotion of research) http://www.oseo.fr/ the Pyrenees Atlantiques general council and the Aquitaine region.
